We are delighted to have Kent and Medway Training (KMT) as our forth School based partner offering Distance Learning Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) courses. KMT can now offer a fully integrated SKE course to support their ITT trainees. This adds to the range of pre-ITT support that KMT offers.
SKE courses are intended to boost teacher trainees' subject knowledge prior to ITT to enable successful progression to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They are particularly useful for those whose academic background omits aspects of their SKE specialist subject at a level necessary for teaching it in secondary schools.
